Now Accepting Submissions for the 2014 GT Film Festival

Glaucoma Today invites glaucoma surgeons and clinicians to enter the 2014 Glaucoma Today Film Festival.



An image from the grand prizewinning entry in the Glaucoma Today Film Festival will appear on the March/April 2014 cover of Glaucoma Today. Nearly 12,000 glaucoma specialists, generalists, and ODs will see your video worldwide. Runner-up entries in each category will be showcased in the March/April 2014 issue of Glaucoma Today with links to view on Eyetube. net. All eligible videos will be posted on the Glaucoma Channel to help advance surgical skills.


We are looking for videos illustrating innovative techniques, challenging cases, and pearls for glaucoma diagnosis and surgery. All videos must be accompanied by an English narration. You may submit multiple videos to each category. The categories are:

  • Filtration surgery
  • Tube shunt procedures
  • Cyclophotocoagulation
  • Microinvasive glaucoma surgery


All videos must be submitted through the Glaucoma Today Film Festival submission website. There is no limit on the number of submissions.


To ensure eligibility for the contest, all entries must be submitted in a HIPAA-compliant Web-ready format. All details about the patient(s) must be obscured prior to submission. Accepted file formats include mp4, mpeg, mov, avi, and wmv.
