A Candid Conversation on Interventional Glaucoma

On a special live episode of MIGS Unplugged, hosts Iqbal Ike K. Ahmed, MD, FRCSC, and Arsham Sheybani, MD, are joined by Sahar Bedrood, MD, PhD; I. Paul Singh, MD; and an audience of interventional glaucoma specialists for an interactive discussion on the space today. They deliberate what limits select approaches from being used more often, review surgical footage to highlight the nuances of current techniques, comment on combined and standalone procedures, and predict how emerging data and technologies could affect the future of care.

Survey Says: Intervention for Controlled Glaucoma

On this episode of “Survey Says,” a special edition of GT: The Podcast, I. Paul Singh, MD, and Reena Garg, MD, discuss the next steps for a patient who is having difficulty adhering to his topical medication regimen. With no progression shown on visual field testing, Dr. Singh raises the question of whether the current treatment is appropriate or if the compliance issue warrants exploration of a different option such as repeat selective laser trabeculoplasty, drug delivery, or surgery. Dr. Garg weighs in. Later, they compare their opinions with the results of a social media poll of GT’s audience, and Dr. Singh shares what he did.
