MIGS in Patients With Corneal Disease

“We presented a couple of different studies at ASCRS, looking at combined cataract surgery, plus iStent (Glaukos), plus DMEK. We found that there was a low rebubble rate, [IOP] was lower, and patients needed to be on fewer glaucoma medications. However, the challenge with DMEK is that, because we are flattening the anterior chamber, hyphema … is likely.”
